Renovation and construction of the addition is complete.
In early 1964, Chairman of the Center for Continuing Education, J. Dudley Hill, reaches out to New Jersey constituents for financial backing to expand facilities needed to accommodate growing operations of the 180 or more programs currently being served.
Generous contributions by George Mennen of The Mennen Company, Samuel G .Cooper and Glenn Gardiner, and independent gifts, towards renovation and conversion of the original office building nearly triples the size of the facility. Coined the Management Building, the site improvements include 36 sleeping rooms, a lobby, lounge, dining room, and conference room, each with a capacity of 100, a kitchen and an elevator.
Plaques are installed throughout the facility to commemorate their support of the continuing education initiatives.
